Plonky2 — ZK-enforced

Zero-Knowledge Proofs — enforced for shielded transactions

Every shielded transaction (v2_shielded) carries a Plonky2 validity proof verified as a hard consensus rule; where ZK-embed is active the full proof + witness is embedded in the block body and re-verified on every accept path. Block proofs are BUILT and measured — one recursive proof per block, verified in 6.7 ms regardless of block size — and dormant, awaiting a real nullifier accumulator and a single consensus derivation of the commitment root. VM proofs are circuit core only: no contract layer exists on the chain yet, so there is nothing on-chain to prove.
